Fantastic read!I’ve always loved this fiction on Royal Road and have just finished reading the book。 Reading the story again let me catch a lot of details I must have missed the first time, and really reminds me why this story is one of my favorites。

Amazing bookI loved this book。 Great story, amazing action, and well done characters。 The only problem is the ending。 You might want to wait until the next one is announced or even if there will be a next one。

Felix is trying to change some things is his life and finds himself in a situation to just walk away or protect an innocent。 His decision costs him everything and he is heartbeats away from death before he is taken away。 He wakes up in a new world with game like screens that seem to be glitching and everything is trying to kill him。 He will have to adapt quickly if he wants to survive。What a fun book! I was excited when I saw that it was a Travis Baldree book, but man the story blew me away。 It Felix is trying to change some things is his life and finds himself in a situation to just walk away or protect an innocent。 His decision costs him everything and he is heartbeats away from death before he is taken away。 He wakes up in a new world with game like screens that seem to be glitching and everything is trying to kill him。 He will have to adapt quickly if he wants to survive。What a fun book! *DNF* barely got started in fact。This story may be good if you ignore the Prologue or parts set prior to the MC getting transported to another reality。I just wouldn't know though since I didn't personally make it past listening to the audible sample。A sample which is a part of the prologue from what I could figure out, said prologue I gather getting progressively worse/pathetic (story wise) after the point I stopped listening。 While also having zero impact on the continuing story。 This I deduced *DNF* barely got started in fact。This story may be good if you ignore the Prologue or parts set prior to the MC getting transported to another reality。I just wouldn't know though since I didn't personally make it past listening to the audible sample。A sample which is a part of the prologue from what I could figure out, said prologue I gather getting progressively worse/pathetic (story wise) after the point I stopped listening。 While also having zero impact on the continuing story。 This I deduced from comments on Royal Road which I found out this story was posted to during its creation process from mentions in amazon reviews。The writing/quality of work felt rather good though from the little I could make out but the mentality just so utterly rubbed me the wrong way that it repulsed instead of hooking me。 。。。more

Great LitRPG novel!

This is a fantastic book。 It is an exciting ride from the very beginning with interesting characters, a living world, and an intriguing system that always has more to give。 It is hefty enough to sink your teeth into and feel satisfied when it's over。 I enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to seeing more from this author。 This is a fantastic book。 It is an exciting ride from the very beginning with interesting characters, a living world, and an intriguing system that always has more to give。 It is hefty enough to sink your teeth into and feel satisfied when it's over。 I enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to seeing more from this author。 。。。more
